Your hosts are in their early sixties. Jacky is a retired engineer and Roxane is an artist; she restores art objects. In her spare time, your hostess creates icons; Chinese pearl partitions. Jacky is keen on history.
They have offered their guest room to visitors since spring 1999 because, as Jacky is retired, he has plenty of free time to share with visitors who look for more than just a bedroom .. a real convivial contact.
Jacky speaks English quite well. Roxane hopes, thanks to your presence, to refresh her basic English skills. |

Our room is located in Paris, on the first floor (with lift) of a modern building constructed in 1990. The windows of your hosts' residence opens onto a small green square. The apartment has a large, comfortable living room, harmoniously blending modern, gloss finished furniture with Arabic and Chinese sculptures that you will have the opportunity to discover on your arrival over a drink with your hosts.
You can admire the personal collection of icons created by Roxane and several other objects which have been restored by her, giving them a new life. |
